Tires

Anyone know the current load rating on the 265-70 BFG AT that come stock with the 03. They are E but what are they rated at?

I dont see many E load rated tires to choose from aftermarket and wonder if I can go down to D safely

I was in the snow cutting down a x-mas tree and was not too happy with the traction but then again I am comparing to my Montero with Bridgestone AT Revo and probably a better 4wd system but I would like to improve snow, mud traction without too much noise. The Revos were more quite than the STOCK HT Yok that came on my montero and I could travel over mud in 2wd that took 4wd with the stock tires.

Also, I would not mind going up to 285 to drop RPM a little. It looks like that would put my Auto at a good RPM at 75mph but I dont want to raise the front. I am a little concerned that the steering will be thrown off, ie may wonder a little.
