accessory questions

1. in genos catalog, says that the AFE PRO-GUARD 7 FILTER meets the mfg.s MINIMUM requirement for filtration. why would i pay $294.04 for a system that does the minimum. what am i missing here???

2. about the DIESEL TURBO LIFE SAVER- i understand that the turbo needs to spin for awhile before shut down to cool it off. so does the LIFE SAVER cause it to spin using battery power after the motor is shut down? and 15 minutes (DTLS-GMD1/15 vs the DTLE-GMD1/ERT) ??
i know i could contact ginos for answere but i would rather hear from an actual user (s).
