Thumbs down Loose Battery connections

I just finished installing the "White Knight" back up light
supplement. I ran the battery wire to the battery on the drivers side, and when I went to loosen the connection to connect the red wire, it was barely more than hand tight! I've had no problems, but it seems to me that a loose battery connection could cause corosion, resistance, (heat), and potentially other problems!

Do not know if anyone else has had this experiance but it sure would be worth 5 min to check. thanks
