Tire size and fuel economy?

I am thinking about getting bigger tires. I know that taller tires can help your gear ratio, but that the added mass at the outside hurts you.

I'm guessing that the stock 265s are best for fuel mileage; anyone have different experiences? I am running 4.10s.
