MAC Air Filter Intake STAY AWAY FROM RPM OUTLET
Ordered a MAC airfilter kit which looks pretty cool with a chrome pipe from filter to turbo... again, nice looking.
Problem is that I think it flows less air than the stock box!!!! It has a K&N style filter on it(I know I know I'm putting an outerwears on it and it will filter fine!!).
Anyhow, the filter minder is in the pipe and goes to 50 percent with this sucker!!!! Could it be that because it's in the pipe close to the turbo that it's a false reading?????
That and the steel pipe is SO LOUD it's the only thing I can hear in the truck!!! Big mistake using steel, it's like an echo chamber.
I bought the kit from RPM-OUTLET. Big mistake. This place is a scam and I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from them if you didn't know about the product before hand. They said if I didn't like the product it wasn't their problem and basically told me to kiss off.... VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They will not give ANY REFUNDS on anything they sell, unless they were responsible for shipping damage etc.
So two things to stay away from. MAC Air filter kit, and RPM Outlet.
See what happens when you give poor customer service? I hope you read this.
