? about changing out the Infinity stereo

Ok guys, I finally got my new stereo system wired up in my truck and now I am ready to start the wifes truck. The two things that have me kind of worried are the Amp for the infinity system and the Stereo controls on the steering wheel (I'll buy one of them pac devices once I have the stereo wired up though).

Is there anything Special that I need to do to make sure I don't back feed the speakers wires back to the factory amp? I am guessing that the speaker leads on the back of the stereo to go the factory amp correct? Should I run all new speaker wires from the new head unit to all speakers? How can I completely bypass the factory amp?
