Scratched Glass on Drivers side window

So yeah.....it was a nice sunny 85 degrees in S.E. Michigan yesterday, so I decided to roll down my window to enjoy the warmth and fresh air. When I got home I was horrified to find that there was about a 6~8 inch scratch in the glass!!!

Now I have feeling I know what caused this, the drivers side door speaker has been vibrating for the past week or two since it has started to warm up around here. I think maybe a fastener came loose and scratched the glass. Truck is at the dealer today to hopefully have the glass replaced under warranty and the speaker fixed.
