2010 3500 Transmission question

I only have around 700 miles on my new truck, and I have a question regarding the transmission. When I start off from a stop, it feels like I'm spinning the rear tires, except that I'm not. The motor rpm comes up, and I can feel some movement, but it feels like the torque convertor is slipping, or something. Then it hits 2nd gear, and takes right off. It happens at EVERY stop. Should this be something to take to the dealer?
