Did the first service on my dad's new truck (04.5 auto q-cab longbed 4wd) and all I have to say is, what were they thinking? Some of the stuff is just laid out in a GOOFY manner. Here's my list to change... (not that it really matters anyway)
1. Move the A/C compressor wiring harness out from under the oil filter... it could just as easily come down from the front.
2. METAL fuel filter housing cap (anyone know a torque spec for the plastic one?)
3. Hex oil drain plug
4. Am I missing something or are there things that
should have grease zerks that just don't?
5. Why didn't the guy that tightened to oil filter to 150 ft-lbs also tighten the drainplug? It took NO effort to loosen the drain plug.
Just my ranting... Also lost the silencer part of the silencer tube today

Took it apart and gutted it and sealed the pipe with rtv, put it in the vise to dry then used 4 machine screws for safe keeping.
