Boost needle vibrating

Took a 2 hour trip yesterday, and once I hit the 65mph speed limit (was going 75) the boost needle would vibrate back and forth violently between about 1 or 2lbs of boost (1 or 2 is the range it would vibrate, eg. between 13 and 15 lbs.). It would hold steady as a rock if the boost went below 9psi, but once it hit 9 and above again it started to vibrate.

I really have no clue why it would do this. The egt and tranny temp needles aren't vibrating so I would think it's not something w/ a vibe in the truck. It had happened last time I took this trip too, but went away shortly after.

Any ideas?

only engine mods are AFE and MBRP exhaust, other mods in sig link.
