Engine block heater?

My truck was a dealer locate, the only option it didn't have that I wanted was the engine block heater. As an option its only $12.00 US, so this leads me to belive that it is just the plug. I was told that ALL CTD engines come equipped with a heater. Is it just a matter of adding the plug? If so, does anyone have the part number for it???
