New Tranny Pan from DPP!!!
Got a deep aluminum tranny pan from Dieselperformanceparts.com and man, it's nice. Quite a bit less $$ than the MagHytec pans. It's 2 qts more than stock, has a drain plug, and a boss to drill and tap for trans temp sender. It was super easy to install, for those that are a little gunshy. I'd recommend picking up a Fleetguard tranny filter for it when you do change it out. The filter includes a nice rubber gasket and you'll need it since the original gasket will have indentations from the factory pan and you want a smooth gasket for the milled aluminum gasket seating surface of the new pan. My observation of the pan is that it is very high quality. I've had it on a couple weeks and absolutely no leaks. The hottest the fluid has ever gotten is when I was backing a loaded trailer, 180 degrees.
