Auxillary Trans Cooler?
Just got through reading the 04 manual. It states for heavy operation, like towing heavy loads or trailer towing an Auxillary Trans Fluid Cooler "should" be used, along with a heavy duty cooling system and engine/axle ratio combination needed for heavy loads.
Having hit 280F for a minute or two towing at very low speeds I have been toying with the idea of an aftermarket cooler to supplement the stock one. Of course, at normal road speeds I rarely hit the infamous 260F mark.
I thought I ordered all the options available for towing. Curious Dodge doesn't offer this since they could certainly sell them and save some warranty claims from folks like me towing legal wt.
Any recommendations for a good aftermarket cooler, that won't void my warranty?
Thanx,
Roamin' Joe
