Mag Hytec question

I think the one thing that will transfer from my 1996 TD 47RE to my planned 2005 48RE is the Mag Hytec tranny pan. It's the standard capacity Mag Hytec, not the deep one. Am I correct? I believe I read somewhere the standard Mag Hytec has the same fluid capacity as the 48RE. I hope it's true since it will save me a few hundred bucks.
