Dealer today...

I was at the dealer today (Earnhardt, Gilbert AZ) dropping of my truck for service. My Service manager and I got into a conversation on performance goodies and the CTD's. He told me there was an 05 with 27k miles in the back with a blown engine that DC was not going to cover due to a chip being installed. Apparantly the pistons/rings are shot.

I hate hearing stuff like this. I bet the guy wasn't running any gauges and had the chip set pretty high... Service Guy said 10k for a new engine form DC.
