ATS tranny shops, perfomance chips, saly lake city

good,bad,ugly,,,don't want to start a bash, just looking for fact's. my trannys finally on its way out and want to go with ats stage V tranny
has anyone here used them or should i just have my dodge tech (whom i'm buddy's with) do the install and save myself a 400mi round trip?
