engine with a rough vibration at idle/ high egt's

the 04.5 has done it again. when i start it up the whole truck shakes. i noticed my egt's were up around 500* at idle. the exhaust has a diffrent sound also. kind of a fluttering sound. power is normal driving but exhaust temp is about 200* higher then normal. i unhooked ez completly and no change. new fuel filter a month ago.(i get my fuel from a big tank on the farm, so i know it's not a bad batch) also, no codes. any ideas? it will happen for a while(like 30 miles) then go away. also,iif i shut off the truk and restart problem still remains. just comes and goes at will. thanks...james
