48RE Transmission gear hunting 1st-2nd

Under light throttle (slow speed parking lot driving), the transmission has started to jump between 1st and 2nd. Sometimes it will shift back and forth 4 or 5 times in a few seconds time. I know it isn't good, but any idea mechanically or electronically what might be causing it? Fluid is good, up to proper level, changed regularly, have tranny gauge, never tow heavy with it. Thanks
