Triple Dog & Edge/Attitude

Hi all,

I just recently traded my 04 6.0 powerjunk in for an 05 dodge 2500 cummins. I had many problems with my 6.0 and tried many modules and tuners on it.

Here is the deal. from my experience on the 6.0 the tuners were always lacking in low end perfromance while the modules always had tons of low end. I had the edge/attitude and the power was great but the shifting sucked bad.

Well I was leaning towards getting a edge/attitude for my cummins but I also read that many were using the Triple dog and liked it. Well to make a long story short I ended up trying a triple dog with the outlook monitor.

I was a little worried that the bottom end power would be just like the 6.0 tuners. Weak on low end power. Unfortunatly it is weak on low end just like I was worried about. it also does not seem very smooth. I would like to hear from some people that have the edge/attitude and have maybe tried the triple dog/outlook.

Also the triple dog keeps setting a low boost code. It did it again on the way home for work and the check engine light came on. Well I went to pass some one on the perfomance level and the truck would barely excelerate. floored from 55-60 took for ever. I barely got passed him before on coming trafic plowed me. So I pulled over and reset the code. The truck ran fine after that. I think I am pretty much done with the triple dog after that little episode!!

I already have a edge/attitude on order I would just like to know if the lowend power is there. Meaning you shouldnt have to mash the pedal down 1/2 way to really start getting some power.

I know there is a crazy larry program as well but My stock tranny won't handle that kind of abuse. I also think that the triple dog/outlook set up is built kinda cheesy and I do not like the way they have the obd plug just hanging there. it doesnt even fit that tight and can be easily knocked loose. The system is also very generic in that its not defined how much power for each individual truck. I dont think they are able to get 230 hp outa 6.0 . they show that all 3 trucks make the exact same power on each level in ther litature? I find that impossible. Am I the only one that see's things this way?

All I know is my edge /attitude on my 6.0 was very well built and was not "Cheesy". I also know that there is a 180hp program for the juice but I think I will wait for tranny mods before I get that!!!
