Frayed/jumped fan belt?

If you have one of the earlier 04-05 trucks that lost a belt or two, sounds like there is going to be a new pulley for the generator. It is the overrunning type that has been used on the 3.8 minivans for a couple of years. It should also reduce some of the shut down chirp. Anyone with a truck built after about June should have one installed from the factory. Curious if anyone that has a June or newer built truck noticed the chirp is gone.
