Quick question on a 2004 CTD I helped stranded the other day?
I was driving home the otherday over the weekend, when I noticed a woman driving a bone-stock CTD making a very hesitant left hand turn in front of me. As her truck just passed mine it completely quit on her. I pondered for a moment weather to help her push it out of the way of traffic, or pull her with my truck and my tow-strap. I figure my 150 skinny self wouldn't be effective pushing a +7K lbs vehicle, so I rolled my window down and motioned her to stay put, as I would be there to help as soon as my light turned green. I made a U turn, pulled in front of here and hooked up. I pulled her about 1/8 mile and into a parking lot, and asked her if she ran out of fuel. She replied with no, it was running fine then when I went to take off when the light turned green, the truck sputtered, bogged down and died. She said she was able to start it but it only ran for 10 seconds, while still bogging then quit and wouldn't start any longer. Does anyone have any idea what was wrong with her truck just by my description?
