06 Megacab Keep Cat and resonator but no Muffler

Is anyone out there with a 2006 Megacab that has used a muffler delete pipe and left the CAT and resonator in place? How loud is it? Any Drone? Performance or mileage changes? Stock tip or after market? I am thinking this might be worth trying, but wanted to see if anyone had tried it.

2006 3/4 ton 4x4 48RE Auto, SLT Atlantic blue Mega Cab. Amsoil AE airfilter, Amsoil throughout, AFE torque tube, Westach Combo gauge in SRT A pillar, Removed muffler, kept resonater and DPF. (for now)
