NV5600 Fluid capicity..came up short

I changed the fluid in my NV5600 today and was only able to get a little over 4 quarts in before it started coming out of the fill hole. Is this normal or should I be concerned? When I was pumping it in I got every drop out of the bottle but there is no way that Redline (MTL) gave me that much extra in every bottle...is there? I searched and found that a few people only got 4.25 quarts in but I am not sure I even got that much in. TIA
