2006 engine Dodge failure after sold... HELP
So if anyone's been following my 2006 Dodge blown injector saga...
Summary:
It broke.
I paid $1100 to fix it, but they misdiagnosed.
I paid for same repairs again + $2700 more to replace entire fuel system because they said that would definitely take care of it.
Dealer service manager said now that totally back to stock (after $5200 in repairs) Chrysler would cover under warranty, but a call would have to be made to Chrysler to authorize the repairs. He said a note was being made in my record noting the repairs that were done and that it was back to stock.
I wasn't happy with DC after 50+ days of trying to get my truck fixed, so I sold it to Toyota the next day.
Long story short...
It's been 2 weeks in my new Tacoma, and Toyota called me saying the truck has broke AGAIN and Chrysler says the warranty is void.
I told Toyota the last thing I was told was that Chrysler would cover under warranty now that it's back to stock. Toyota is super PO'd now, and I am moments away from them calling me back wanting me to repair it.
So should I:
#1 Do nothing because as far as I knew DC told me the truck would still be covered under warranty and just wait for them to sue me?
#2 Give them the Tacoma and take my Ram back?
#3 Pay for repairs to the truck which will be a whole new engine? Nothing short of that will fix it, I am now convinced of that.
DC told me, "You don't need a new engine in that thing. Replacing the entire fuel system will take care of it."
So what do I do?
