Installed new muffler, questions on ECU/Mileage

After the muffler was installed, the truck seemed to have to relearn. I noticed a few times where the truck would not seem to accellerate as quickly as anticipated although it could have been my imagination. After about 200 miles, the situation with power seems to me much improved amd better than stock.

Mileage is up from 13.9 to 16.0 but I need to see if this survives longer than one tank. We seem to have a wide variety of cetane from station to station here...

What have others seen in mileage increases?
