Hard starting

I have been reading all the hard start..Long start threads there are on this sight..One thing seems to be a very commen with everyone having this problem they are all 6spd trucks. I have been watching all the sigs.I have the same problem and am looking for the answere. My question to anyone out there is if they have replaced the DMF on an 05 truck with a 6spd and did it make the hard start problem go away? Some of the guys out there have pointed out that the DMF may be causing some crank position sensor problems i would agree with that after looking at on..I had my truck at the dealer and asked him about it and he told me to bring it back when it gets really bad..Kinda makes me think it is not a cheap fix to make it righ..

Thanks for the input
