New to Diesels

I have searched, read faq's, etc. This is my first diesel. I read everything about break in I could find and am following what I found on TDR. Anyway, the basic things like draining the water out of the fuel filter cannister, etc. Is there a link or resource for just learning about how to treat a diesel in general?
