04 or 04.5 ?

I just bought an 04. I am wondering is it a 04 or a 04.5? It has a production date of 7-04. In issue 50 it has a list of the changes made in the 04.5. My truck has about half of them. Does any one know what date I should looking for? I also seen in a nother issue early 04s had a different HP rating then later. The engine ID #57228152. Another thing that I found odd the production on the engine is 10-04, after the truck was made. What do guys think?
