Differential lube change...
I did the front and rear differential lube change today. I'm convinced that whomever put those covers on used an air tool. Yeah, I know they used the red stuff on the threads, but this is ridiculous.
For the rear diff, I used Amsoil I had left over from my '99. It's the blue lube.
On the front I used the new improved Amsoil EP lube. It looked like honey, but was thin.
I noticed some filings on the front cover, but none on the rear. I had 20k on the lube, so it looked a bit skunky
Otherwise, it went well until I volunteered to change the oil in my wife's Tyroda Tacoma....
