Tire Warranty on New truck Question

I just noticed that my new 06 has tiny, tiny, cracks on the rear tires. It had a manufacture date of 7/05 so I am guessing that it sat for a while and that is the reason. Can I just take it directly to the tire shop that carries Michelins and ask that they be replaced under warranty? Or do I go to the dealer?
