Power for towing

I know this is prolly a repeat from many others so i am sorry, here goes i have a 2005 CTD 4x4 with 3:73 auto, in the future i am planning on doing a 3" lift, i work with this truck every day i tow on the average of 7000lbs once to maybe three times a week, i need to keep this truck usable, after joining and reading lots of info, all which is VERY good by the way, i have a couple of questions, one smarty or edge juice with attitude? or injectors? what are the pros a cons of each? i want to purchase one box one time only, i want a little more power (smoke ) and better MPG when empty, is the smarty similar to the edge? differences? also would it be better to go with injectors over the smarty or edge? i know the edge increases rail pressure and are they any long term damages? how does the smarty work exactly? BIG advantage with the smarty is undectecable, even though the dealer knows i am going to be doing a power add. Second question on gages, pyro, boost, and tranny, or is it better to go with the fuel pressure gage verse the boost or should i do a quad and leave a spot for one? now who makes a good 3" lift other than KORE?
Sorry for the long post
