48re...SHIFT KIT.... 727 basics

I wanted a little firmer shift, & my tranny guy who has built NUMEROUS bullitproof 727's says to turn up the line pressure & remove the Acumulator springs.
We did a similar mod to my 47re in my V10 & it was driven hard & ran like a top with 133k on the odometer when sold.

Anyone tried this??
