03-04 injectors in a 05?

Question for you guys out there, I have been fighting an issue with my truck since I got it going about a month ago. The issue is that my truck constantly smokes all the time except at a idle. With no power adders at all, this thing always has a black haze going down the road.

I have check many things and talked with a few people, and most people that have injectors in a 05 have been happy with them.
Well just tonight I was going thru my invoice from Scheid Diesel where I have had all my motor work done, including injectors and turbo. Well on my invoice for the injectors it says: DODGE 80hp INJ 03-04

So my question is: is this my issue with the black smoke? I know that the 03-04 trucks only have two injection events and the 04.5 and up trucks have three injection events. So do I have a set of injectors set for 03-04 and causing an over fueling condition for my 05?
Just wanting some feed back on what your guys thoughts are on this?
