Turbo Question

Has anyone ever thought of buying or has purchased a used turbo for an upgrade? BD/II something along those lines.

It sounds strange to udder those words, but I am curious if one checked out OK and was significantly cheaper than a new one what would be the harm.

I'm sure someone as done an upgrade and then went bigger or multi, then they were left with an extra turbo.

Any thoughts...
