Annoying noise!

I noticed a strange noise when shifting from neutral to drive on my 48RE. It is a very brief vibrating sound (not very loud) that sounded like it was coming from the transmission area, almost like an exhaust pipe gently vibrating against the floor.

After about an hour I isolated it to the dipstick for transmission fluid! I remove the dipstick and no noise, so it is apparently the dipstick vibrating inside and against the tube.

Anyone ever heard of this before and I'm assuming a new dipstick may or may not cure this. Strange, HUH??
