2003 3500 4x4 diesel Codes

Cool 2003 3500 4x4 diesel Codes
Am considering buying a '03 3500 (stock). Had it inspected today and P0234 (turbo overboost) and P2509 (ECM/PCM power input signal intermittent) codes showed up. Would appreciate input from anyone who might have an idea what might be the cause of these codes. Truck has about 130,000 miles.

Also, any thoughts about the 47RE auto tranny? We would be towing a 32' Fifth wheel -- not full time, but probably a couple thousand miles a year.

Thanks for any info you can give me.
