Does the CP3 have any internal filtering??

Hey guys, just wondering if the CP3 has any internal screens or filters, or possibly something between it and the rail. My buddy snapped the shaft that drives the low pressure gear pump on his '06. He's got a new pump, but I'm wondering if we need to worry about metal shavings possibly getting to the injectors? Looking for any advice here for what else may need to be cleaned and or replaced. Thanks in advance!!
