Exclamation Injector problem? Paging sag2!

I've been thinking I need injectors and went at troubleshooting today. First I did the exhaust manifold test by backing it away from the engine to see if there was any smoke from any of the exhaust ports. Just a little haze that was pretty consistent. Took a piece of hose to my ear to see if I could isolate any sound differences, none. Temps were deviating around 15-20 deg F. Don't remember if it went up front to back or vice versa. This was first thing in the morning after sitting all night. Then I did the return flow test. Not having the tool I got a 12mm-1.50 bolt that I drilled and tapped then put a barb fitting in the head. I fired up and ran until I had fuel from both hoses. Then I emptied both containers and started the timed event after getting the hoses 'primed' so as to get max flow return. Not sure if that was necessary or not but figured it might rule out a false positive. So I ran for one minute and got right at 600ml from my rigged tool and maybe 50ml from the head. If less is better then I'm thinking I'm fine and just being a vehicular hypochondriac.

I make the decision that I will not replace injectors unless my oil analysis comes back with fuel and I'm wondering when I'll ever get that. Blackstone needs to read the paperwork sent in rather than what's on file but I check my other e-mail and find that I have 3% in the oil. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! So now it seems that I do have an injector problem after all but the flow comes back good. Dripping nozzle or could some of my excessive idling be the culprit? I've been noticing a little haze at idle and stronger smell in the exhaust. Mileage went down a little but that's come back up since it's been cooler and not idling as much. Thinking off the line acceleration is down and maybe a little more clatter but not positive. I get hyper-anal at times. Any ideas anyone? I really need to get on this as I'm traveling over Thanksgiving and would like to get this done before if there is anything to do.

Thanks in advance to all forthcoming responses!
