My opinion on new AFE Torque Tube install.
The AFE torque tube was an easy install, even with one arm in a cast. That's cause the connections to the turbo and the intake box are terrible! The tube does not actually fit onto the turbo or intake box, it is held near them by bridging the gaps between the parts with a wide piece of "rubber hose", with metal clamps holding everything together. My turbo does seem to spool right up, and there is a bunch more whistle than with a stock intake tube. I wouldn't buy this again though. That AFE Stage 2 looks pretty awesome but I am leary after seeing the quality of their torque tube. My AFE Blade Runner is on the way. I will post details for anyone interested in how it works on a lightly modidfied truck.
