I tried searching and if you can suggest search terms I'll try again.

I have an 06 with the 48RE. I have started noticing that if I accelerate slowly (keeping around 1200-1300rpm) the shift between 1st and 2nd is erratic. It lurches and finally shifts. Much more prounounced with a load.

I had read a thread a long time ago about some issue with the torque converter and zone of indecision for lack of a better term in the lower rpm range.

Is this normal? Took it in to the dealer because I'm almost out of warranty but they basically said there were no codes so what I really needed to was to do a tranny service. I am going to do that because it's time but I really don't feel that's it.
