Bob, Marco, Bob4X4; Smarty Jr./Dealer reflash Questions?

Background: spring of 2007 with 4,500 miles on truck took it into dealer for white smoke/long crank reflash.
Bought Smarty Jr. Dec 2007.
Just took truck in with same problems, Dealership done a reflash.

My question is: Do I need to update Smarty Jr. or am I good to go.
