Ticking getting louder
Ok this is getting me worried. I have noticed some ticking in the past and did my best to ignore it as it was intermittent, but now it sounds like a chevy with a stuck lifter! Man, I can't afford new injectors right now. I'm out of warrantee due the the mods I have done and appear to be up a creek. Is there a way to check or test the injectors? If I pulled them would I be able to see any damage or is it going to be microscopic cracks and too small for me to see. I checked the prices a DDP for a set of 90HP injectors with the core charge and it's about 4K. Should I trade it off or bite the bullit and tell the wife that I messed with my engine and broke it. . Nope I'm not that stupid. I need a good story, something believable. I'm not going down for this. Seriously, any advice would be very appreciated. I really like this truck and don't want to part with it.
