Truck won't start....

I have had some recent issues with my truck that has been problematic on an irregular basis. I have searched several threads with vast information. Thanks to all for the immense information and insight.

Today, my truck won’t start. Here are the lengthy details to give everyone the best details I can, I hope I don’t forget anything that would point me in the right direction to a fix.

A month or so ago, while plowing some heavy snow, I overheated and the CEL eliminated. I let the truck cool off at idle and it performed fine for an additional hour or so. The next day the truck seemed to be in Limp mode. Upon borrowing a Smarty from a good friend, I read and cleared the codes. This is what I found:
P2146 – Fuel Injector Group 1 Supply Voltage Circuit (not the first time I have seen this code since using the Edge Juice, and most likely was an old stored code)
P2149 – Fuel Injector Group 2 Supply Voltage Circuit (same as above)
P0217 – Coolant Temperature to High (duh, I knew that)
P0480 – Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit/Open – (Low Fan Speed Relay)
P0483 – Cooling Fan Speed

I cleared all codes. Started truck up but immediately noticed a rough idle. I ran truck around the neighborhood to get up to normal engine temp to see if it went away. It didn’t. No CEL at this time. I put the Smarty back on it to check for codes. This is what I get this time:
P0107 – MAP Sensor Volt Low
P0480 – Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit/Open – Low Fan Speed
P0643 – Sensor Reference Voltage 1 Circuit High (Primary 5 Volt Supply Circuit)
P0868 – Governor Pressure Volt High (Trans Fluid Pressure Low) – separate issue I think. Less than 500 miles on a new Suncoast Trans/TC. It has a small line leak. I can’t get it to the Trans shop to fix it if doesn’t start.

So, this time I am thinking it is Edge Juice related. Back to stock and remove both the Juice and the EZ Boxes. Re-start, still rough idle. I don’t even leave the driveway and check codes again: P0480 – Cooling Fan 1 Control Circuit/Open – Low Fan Speed
Several clears and I see this is the only code I couldn’t get rid of. So I give up that day.

This morning, a week from touching the truck it doesn’t start. It cranks but doesn’t catch. Doesn’t seem to be getting fuel, I don’t hear the typical faint click of the fuel pump. Nothing from the grid heater, although this is the first 60 degree day Chicago has seen this year. I can’t remember at what ambient temp this goes on at.

So waiting for the borrowed Smarty to arrive, I do the key on-off trick. Nothing, not even the “done” as if there where no codes. I also notice that the Volt, Fuel, Oil Pressure and Water temp gauges don’t “wake up” The Speedo and RPM needle DO float off the peg.
In the on position the CEL, Low Fuel (I have a full tank) ABS, and brake light all stay on.

Smarty arrives. Now I can’t even get the thing to connect. I am thinking ECM????
I have checked every fuse and have done every possible relay swap I can to check relay status. Nothing. I disconnected the Battery for a few hours. Still nothing. I reinstall the Edge Juice on a whim that the software was lost or something. Nope.

So back to TDR my reference point, I search some more for P0480 and find some reference to Cam Position Sensor not Cooling fan Control Circuit – what is that all about – was I barking up the wrong tree? What is true definition of P0480? Does it have multiple definitions?

What next? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for taking the time to read my detailed post.
