Smarty Jr Questions

I just purchased a Smarty Jr from Bob (Thanks) and had a few questions before I start using it.

1. Is the HP increase gained from the Smarty at the motor or at the wheels?

2. I do a lot of camping in the Colorado Mountains during the summer and tow a 6000lb travel trailer with me. Should I be concerned with using any one of three program modes of the Smarty Jr while towing?

3. Will I gain or loose any torque using the Smarty Jr?
