AC use = Black smoke
Recently, I have noticed that my truck smokes a heck of alot less without the AC running. I know it smokes with the Smarty programming but it seems to tail off quite a bit when the AC is lot loading the engine. Is this because of the load that the AC compressor puts on the engine which make the turbo slower to spool? Would adjusting the torque management on the SW overcome the additional load of the AC? I HATE the smoke but love my Smarty so I am looking for ways to get rid of my smoke.
