G56 4wd vs 2wd - Rear housing swap?

Does anyone know if the 4wd G56 and the 2wd G56 rear housings can be interchanged? I have 4wd version here on the garage floor and im debating doing a divorced transfercase swap so a 2wd tail housing would be needed, any info?
