Wanting to know what you normally see cruising, & when you put the hammer down? Relatively flat ground no load 70 to75 mph I see high 300 to low 500. If I get on it hard no load I see 1050 to 1200, is that normal ? I thought I remember reading an article by Joe Donelly about this on different generation trucks & how much difference there was between these trucks. I guess what I`am really after is what will a 3rd gen truck stand on a regular basis without anything melting.I purchased an edge insight to monitor these things & also have a ( smarty jr. not installed yet) but don`t want to do anything dumb. Almost forgot EGT probe installed before turbo where #5&#6 drops into turbo. Thanks for any useable info.
