Uh Oh...
Did the routine service to my transmission tonight and was very pleased with what I was seeing until I dropped the pan all the way and found a 1.5" long piece of snap ring stuck to the magnet. This does not give me the warm and fuzzies... I have an ATS converter and modified valve body along with their deep pan. The transmission operates perfectly and is clean as a whistle inside. By the way this is a 2004.5 2500 4x4 with 79K on the odometer.
I have been using Amsoil since 15K in the gearbox.
Anybody have any ideas of what the heck is going on here? am I headed for a disaster?
Thanks, Mark
