Hard starts

Recently I have been having hard start problems. It got to the point it would not start and I put a new transfer pump on. That fixed it for 1 day, then back to hard starts. Symptoms: long cranks (10 sec. or more), does not matter hot or cold, if I press on the accel pedal engine cranks faster and starts faster. It did have a transfer pump low voltage code with old pump, no codes since. Current pump is putting out 8psi at idle and with pump running after bumping starter. Not sure if this is enough pressure or if I'm looking in the wrong place. Please help!!!
