Ticking = Loose Injection Line Clamp
I have had an engine speed dependant ticking type of sound, I think I found the source. Often not heard at cruise, but you could hear it as you wound it up to cruise.
After finishing an oil change yesterday, I had the engine running with the hood up and heard it from the drivers side, carefully put a finger on the lines and #5 was loose in the blue saddle clamp. Tightened clamp, tinny ticking sound gone.
Didn't find much in search on this.
